Following a rebrand from Highland Soaps we've just got all new bottles to put in both our B&B rooms. The bottles are now deep green in colour and feature new landscape inspired labels, we hope you will like them. We originally chose Highland Soaps for Four Oaks because we liked their core principals which are organic & natural, paraben free, natural ingredients, not tested on animals and with sustainable packaging.

Our chosen fragrance is still Juniper & Lime, which they describe as
"Brisk and uplifting, with bright lime cutting through the aromatic depth of juniper berries. Naturally purifying juniper and bright citrus essential oils help to refresh and revive, while nourishing botanicals leave skin feeling clean, comfortable and lightly scented with a fresh, citrus-wood fragrance."

If you know this as "Castle Aaaaargh" then you'll be a Monty Python fan, otherwise it's usually known simply as Castle Stalker. It is a 14th-century Scottish tower house situated on a tidal islet on Loch Laich, just a wee way up the road from us here at Four Oaks. Tours of the castle usually book up quickly but we were lucky enough to get a last minute cancellation.
