It's a bit late but Happy New Year everyone! 😁

I have had quite a few enquiries about Barn Cottage so I have now opened bookings!

I can't wait to welcome some new guests this year and hopefully see some familiar faces! Last year we had a lot of returning guests and it was so nice to catch up!

Every year brings new restaurants and shops, and there are so many places to visit from here that there's always somewhere new to discover!

3 dog friendly self catering holiday cottages with 4 star facilities. Each has a self contained garden, which is great for sitting out with your dog! Or snuggle up by the log burner on a drizzly day!

We're taking a wee break for the October holidays but we have some availability for the end of October - beginning of November in Rowan and Seil.

I have emailed guests who I think will be affected but if you are coming to stay in September or are staying/visiting the slate islands in general, please note there will be some overnight closures. This means there will no way to get to/from the A816 to us between 2100-0600 on these nights.
Unfortunately these dates have just been given to us today.

The B844 Kilninver Bridge will be under traffic management arrangements to ensure the safety of the travelling public and to provide short term protection to the bridge structure while it undergoes emergency repairs.

We have had WEEKS of beautiful sunshine at Loch Seil Cottages and the garden is in full bloom! Strange to see roses out with the bluebells, who knows what will happen when it's actually summer!

I finally made it onto a sea tour! While I can't guarantee the weather or dolphins (I wish I could!), I can recommend www.obanseatours.co.uk. There is an inside seating area for wet or chilly days and there is a toilet onboard! Also, a huge plus for our guests - dogs are allowed!! 🎉
