An update on Tigh Ban Lek...

After some time to reflect, we've had a change of heart. We're delighted to tell you that Tigh Ban Lek is no longer for sale and will continue welcoming guests for the foreseeable future.

If you've been thinking about a stay on Scotland's beautiful west coast, we'd love to welcome you. Bookings are now open for the remainder of 2026 and into 2027.

We can't wait to continue sharing Tigh Ban Lek with both returning and first-time guests. Thank you for being part of our journey, we're looking forward to creating many more memories at Tigh Ban Lek.

After 16 years of owning Tigh Ban Lek, we've decided that it's time to put the cottage up for sale.

Over the years, we've enjoyed sharing this special corner of the west coast of Scotland with so many guests, many of whom have returned time and again.

Tigh Ban Lek has given us countless happy family memories - from breathtaking sunsets and stormy sea views to precious moments of peace and quiet. It’s been a privilege to see so many others create their own memories here too.

While we know it’s the right time for us to move on, we’re sad to be closing this chapter. It really does feel like the end of an era.

As for what comes next, we simply don’t know. A future owner may choose to continue running Tigh Ban Lek as a holiday cottage, or they may make it their private home. Either way, we hope they cherish it as much as we have.

We would like to thank everyone who has supported us over the years. Anyone with an existing booking has already been contacted by us to personally explain the situation.
