It’s completely free!This historic fortress, once a stronghold of the MacDougall clan, will be buzzing with live reenactments, costumed performers, and hands-on activities that bring medieval Scotland to life. Watch knights prepare for battle, explore the medieval encampment, and witness the siege of Dunstaffnage Castle as Robert the Bruce clashes with the MacDougalls. Whether you're a history buff or just looking for a unique weekend adventure, this event promises fun for all ages. The medieval experience runs Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th May from 12–4pm, and while entry to the event is free, booking a ticket in advance is recommended
