THE WHITE HART HOTEL ON DARTMOOR EXTENDS THE EAT OUT TO HELP OUT SCHEME THROUGHOUT SEPTEMBER.

Throughout September diners at The White Hart in Moretonhampstead on Dartmoor will continue to benefit from 50% off their meals thanks to a management decision to extend the popular Eat Out to Help Out scheme initiated by the Government for August. The discount* allows diners to get a maximum 50% off food on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays (up to £10 off per diner). All alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks are excluded from this extended offer however customers are eligible for a 10% discount off all drinks if they sign up to The White Hart’s loyalty card scheme.

There is no limit on how many times you can use the offer throughout the month. I feel blessed that i live very close to where Thomas Hardy fell in love with his future wife, Emma near Boscastle. As an avid reader of his books, i was more than delighted to discover his favourite beach on the north Cornish coast- The Strangles, just north of Boscastle. Its quite the hidden gem of beaches along this coastline and well worth the hike down from the cliff top to reach this very quiet spot.

Tavistock Pannier Market is pleased to announce that it will be opening its doors for business on Thursday 2nd July, this will be a phased return and will be initially opening on Thursday’s, Friday’s & Saturday’s 9am - 3pm, we have reconfigured the interior to allow for social distancing and will be using one entry at the Bedford Square end of the building, and one exit point with sanitising stations on each and throughout the building. We do ask that customers do not shop in groups and are respectful of our social distancing measures, our aim is to create a safe shopping environment for our traders, staff and our much valued customers, access to the public toilets will be from the east end exterior of the building.
