Pots and Pans Cottage, a charming L shaped 18th century weavers cottage, is located in a small hamlet 10 minutes walk into the centre of bustling Uppermill village in Saddleworth, and straight onto open Peak District for excellent walking. The cottage is full of character with two bedrooms, two bathrooms (one with bath, one ensuite), cosy lounge and well equipped kitchen and dining area. The decke

Pots and Pans Cottage forms part of one of the oldest hamlets in Saddleworth, within Uppermill village, well known for its cafes, restaurants, bars and shops. The cottage is a beautiful example of an iconic Saddleworth cottage with many original features and mullion windows throughout. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, feature fireplace and open wood beam ceiling. The second bedroom has ensuite shower room and can be set up as a double, twin or single bedroom as required. The lounge features an Aga woodburning stove in original fireplace and oak wood flooring. The well-equipped dining kitchen has exposed wood beams, rustic floor tiles a range cooker, dishwasher, SMEG fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and double ceramic sink. Other amenities include: washing machine, tumble dryer, wifi internet, television and DVD player, digital radio and bluetooth speaker. Children's highchair, stair gate and travel cot are available on request. Parking is available close to the cottage.

A Saddleworth restaurant is celebrating after being named the best in the north west.

Lees Spice Lounge, on the areaโ€™s High Street, won the prestigious title of Curryhouse of the Year for the region at the National Curry Awards.

The success was announced at the sixth annual ceremony, hosted at the House of Lords on Monday, October 20.

A Saddleworth football club is ready to blast off to Saturn 5, thanks to a sponsorship agreement with indie icons Inspiral Carpets.

Uppermill FCโ€™s first team will feature the bandโ€™s name on its away shirt for the forthcoming Manchester League season.

And a few other famous faces will be joining them after being included on the design.
