Nestling in the foothills of the Pennines...

Fabulous views and walks from the farm gate. Set in glorious countryside on the moorside on the northern most tip of the Peak District National Park, and on the route of the Pennine Way, Diggle House Farm is currently using green technology within it's three one, two and three bedroomed, high quality, self catering cottages.
Located within striking distance of the Yorkshire Dales, West Yorkshire and Derbyshire, the farm is also only 45 minutes away from the bustling metropolis of Manchester and Leeds. With excellent "green" credentials, the cottages offer a great opportunity to stay in traditional accommodation on a working farm, but also enjoy the home comforts of underfloor heating, solar electricity, rainwater harvesting and hot water supplied from pipes laid within the ground. Outside the cottages are dedicated patios and gardens in which you can sit and relax, enjoying breathtaking views of the Saddleworth valley and moorland. Locally there are many festivals and traditions, such as the famous Whit Friday Band Contests and Rush Cart celebrations and the area is rich with walking and cycling routes. There are many amenities for children including parks and adventure playgrounds within the village, and local shops, Post Office and pubs are approximately one mile away from the farm. All cottages are finished to a very high standard. For further information, including prices and availability, please visit our website: www.digglehousefarm.co.uk.
