📣After 4 amazing years at The Diggle Hotel, it’s time for Sue to retire and for the family to move on to new adventures.
A huge thank you to all our loyal locals and amazing staff for the love and support throughout the years— it’s meant everything.
Our last day is Sunday 4th January.
We have lots happening over Christmas period we hope you’ll join us to celebrate the weeks ahead 🥂

The downside of bringing your 4 legged friend in to our pub? Our staff tend to neglect the humans and see to the dogs first! 🐶🐕

🐾 Charity Dog Pack Walk
📅 Saturday 22nd November
🚨 Raising funds for Oldham Mountain Rescue

📍 Location: Newbank Garden Centre, Dobcross
🕚 Time: 11:00am
🚶‍♂️ Distance: 3.5 miles

🗺️ Route:
We’ll set off from the garden centre and follow the canal path to the Diggle Hotel, where there will be an opportunity to stop for drinks and food. The return route takes us back along Brownhill Road towards the garden centre.

All dogs must be kept on a lead.
Suggested donation: £6 per dog.

This is an easy walk along the canal to Diggle, with one small hill, followed by a downhill section.

Please let me know if you’ll be joining us.
People without dogs are very welcome too!
