Another Five Star Review!!!!! Thank you so much to our lovely guests this week. Stan, you are very welcome any time 🤗.

Stan had a lovely stay at Spire View Cottage. He was visiting friends having lived in Olney a few years ago. He enjoyed the pubs and restaurants and of course the weather was lovely for his stay.

All ready now for our next guest in June. We still have availability for BOFF weekend, so if you have friends and family coming to enjoy our wonderful town, and need more room, please get in touch.

Our lovely guests at the weekend enjoyed their stay, and now we are all ready for our next guest who joins us tomorrow. The weather is supposed to be cheering up so the umbrella is out and the patio garden swept 🤣💕. Thank you to Olney Pancake Parlour for our fab cookies, and as they are bringing their fur baby, thank you to Pickles Pantry for the treats. Hi everybody, this week we said goodbye to our lovely German student, who has been staying at Spire View Cottage since January 🥹 it was lovely getting to know him, and he had a wonderful time in Olney. He said that everyone was really friendly, the pubs and restaurants were fab, he even joined the gym while he was here! He will be back for a visit next year 😄 now we are all ready for this weekend’s guests who are visiting family in our beautiful town. Welcome Sarah ❤️ we hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Hello from sunny Olney 😊 the pots outside Spire View Cottage are starting to look colourful, and the clematis is full of buds! This plant grows out of a hole in the ground against the wall. Isn’t nature amazing. I will send more pics when it is in bloom ❤️ don’t forget to get in touch if you have family or friends coming to stay and need more room. We are now taking bookings for the end of June ☺️

Just a half hour walk from Spire View Cottage is the pretty village of Emberton, with its award winning pub, The Bell and Bear. They have a lovely garden and things on most weekends, such as live music and great food trucks. They also do a fabulous Sunday roast, do check them out. If you have friends and family coming to Olney for the wonderful events that are taking place over the next few months, please get in touch if you need somewhere for them to stay. A gorgeous day for a walk around Emberton Country Park. There were lots of families enjoying everything from rides on the pedal trikes, playing in the play parks and eating delicious ice cream bought at the Emberton Cafe. Plenty of wildlife too, the Swans left their eggs for a while in the sun to go foraging. We hope to see some ugly ducklings soon 😆 we even heard the cuckoo 💕

We had a wonderful wander around Woburn Sands today, just a 20 minute drive from Olney, and has free parking 😆 it was a lovely day and we had lunch in Whisk, a lovely little restaurant offering pancakes, sandwiches and lovely toast options, I had the beetroot, avocado, fried egg and feta on toast. It was yummy. Definitely worth a visit ❤️

After a lovely walk yesterday along the embankment in Bedford (got the bus over), where the tulips 🌷 were in full bloom and the river looked beautiful, today we spent the morning at the My Little Vintage event at Turvey House. All within a short distance from our beautiful town. How wonderful to see the blue skies and sunshine ☀️

Good morning 😊 what a fabulous day! Yesterday we hopped on the bus to Bedford and had a lovely walk along the embankment. The sky was blue, the sun shining and the tulips look beautiful as you will see from the pics. Today we are heading to the My Little Vintage event in Turvey 💕
