The deerstalking season is now well underway and the Estate’s team of dedicated and highly professional deerstalkers continue to play a vital role in maintaining a healthy and balanced wild deer population at Baronscourt.

However, poachers and trespassers present a challenge to landowners carrying out this important land management activity, and there can be serious implications of poaching or trespassers interfering with the lawful activities of our stalkers.

We therefore ask that everyone visiting the area pay attention to all signage and at all times stay on the Ulster Way (a public right of way available for everyone to enjoy).

The Estate will continue to work with all relevant agencies and partners to tackle incidents of trespass (including aggravated trespass) and poaching.
