We now have our official closing date. Our last stay checks out Sunday 7th September and we will no longer be accepting any bookings.

Chris, Noah, Ella and I have had an absolute blast. We’ve loved hosting but the time has come now to hang up the duster and start a new adventure. A huge thank you to all our past guests, you’ve been amazing and we’ve loved you all!

Just a quick update from us here Little England Retreats. Due to a change in our lives we’ve now shut our shepherds huts and yurt to give us more family life. We’ve loved every minute of hosting but it’s time for a change. Our cottage is still available to rent so do get in touch if you would like to book

Don’t forget we have a games barn on-site! With a full pool table, table tennis and darts to name a few! The littlest members of LER are getting a pool lesson from Mr LER so they don’t turn out at rubbish as me at it!

So this decking has been bugging me for ages. It’s finally stopped raining for long enough so I can get it repainted! So much better now!

We had some lovely guests stay with us this week for a few nights. They took the time out to leave the most wonderful review on tripadvisor. Knowing how busy lives can be, the fact that a guest can take the time to leave a review is very appreciated let alone such a wonderful one. We read each and every review and appreciate everyone. This is our fourth season and I still get the excitement that guests have had a wonderful stay, it means everything to us

Those of you who know me know I love a little project! What started as a fresh coat of paint in the Alfred resulted in new paint, carpets, lights, bed and furnishings. All ready for our guests this weekend. We do have a cancellation for next week so why not book yourselves in and try it out!

It’s a painting kind of day here at . The Alfred is getting a fresh coat of paint and a new carpet is due in the next couple of weeks. Everyone uses a Halloween bucket as a paint kettle dont they? 😂
