This Friday and Saturday - the orchard is open. If you've been meaning to come, this is it. The cider apple trees are blossoming and it's one of the most beautiful areas on the farm.

Bowhayes Blossom - a free community event at Bowhayes Farm.

The blossom came early this year - which means so have we.

For two days, we're opening the orchard gates to our neighbours and the local community. The cider apple trees are almost in full blossom - walk through at your own pace, bring a camera, stay and enjoy the beauty.

We'll have the nursery café open with homemade cakes and hot drinks, and the tree nursery will be open to browse.

Nearing the end of the cider apple harvest, only about 90 tonnes to go. Praying the weather holds a little longer….!

2025 has had its ups and downs like all years… long hot summer, September’s rain, hail, sun, breakages, early mornings, long days and late nights… but we’re still going as it’s not over yet!
