The Shuckburgh Arms has been open since August 2008 and has since then built up a great reputation. There is a choice of Sunday roasts everyweek, but the menu may vary occasionally. We have two real ales, which include the very popular BSA (3.8%) and NVB (4.0%) both located locally.The lagers on tap are Carlsberg, Poretti, San Miguel . We have 3 lovely en-suite bedrooms at the rear of the car park

. All offered a complementary breakfast of danish pastries and juice, and at weekends we offer a full English breakfast at the extra cost of £12.95. The room prices are as follows:
SINGLE ROOM:
1 night stay (Mon-Thurs) £50.00 (Fri & Sat) £55.00
2 night stay (Mon-Thurs) £45.00 (Fri & Sat) £50.00
En-suite with shower, Free view tv, and tea/coffee making facilities

STANDARD DOUBLE ROOM:
1 night stay (Mon-Thurs) £60 (Fri & Sat) £65.00
2 night stay (Mon-Thurs) £50.00 (Fri & Sat) £55.00
En-suite with shower, heated towel rail, free view tv, tea/coffee making facilities and small fridge. EXECUTIVE DOUBLE:
1 night stay (Mon-Thurs) £65.00 (Fri & Sat) £70
2 night stay (Mon-Thurs) £60.00 (Fri & Sat) £65
En-suite large bath and double shower, heated towel rail, DVD/free view tv, CD player, tea/coffee making facilities and small fridge. All rates are quoted Per Room, Per Night basis

We would like to thank everyone who has visited us in the last 18 months. Thank you to James Evans, and Chris Grove for their help in sorting the rooms for 4 in bed, we couldn't have achieved that without you. Thanks to everyone who has worked for us, especially Joe Macoll, we wish you a speedy recovery. This little pub hasnt just been built by us, its been built by the fantastic people around us who have all wanted the same as us, to have a beautiful village pub.
But the biggest thank you would have to be to the wonderful momma bear Tessa watts. These last 18 months would never have been possible without you. Thank you for always supporting us and believing in us even when our ideas our crazy. We wouldnt be where we are without you♥️
One last thank you to Mick and Marie for their wonderful quiz nights which bought so many people together. To emily,will,sophia and Alex for working so hard for us and achieving our vision.
And then to all our wonderful customers, who have now become friends, who we have laughed with, partied with, celebrated with. You have made every step worth it no matter how defeated we have felt. Your support to us is absolutely overwhelming and that is what breaks our hearts the most.
This is not goodbye, its a see you soon as we plan our next adventure

Bringing our total to 6 in just 17months which is incredible ❤️

Evening everyone,
Our lease is up end of June and we had a choice of a renewal or not. Unfortunately the new lease is something we cannot adhere too so we’ve spent this last week making a very tough decision. We’ve only been here a short amount of time and tried our absolute hardest to make it work, we’ve battled through covid, cost of living, thousands of pounds in repairs and we’ve put our heart and soul into making it work.
We’ve made some wonderful friends since we opened and we will never forgot all of your support you’ve given us through our ups and downs.
Our last trading day is the 23rd of June so we would love to celebrate the night with you all.

Happy Sunday everyone! What a glorious sunny day it’s been!
Can anyone recommend a local bee keeper to come remove a new nest? They’ve taken up a home today in what looks like our top floor of the pub were not too sure!
