**Can I use my lodge whenever I want?**
Yes! Faringdon Grange is open **12 months of the year**, so you can enjoy your lodge throughout the seasons — not just during the summer.

**Is Faringdon Grange a residential park?**
No. The park currently operates as a **holiday park**, so lodges are for holiday and leisure use rather than being your permanent residential home.

**Do I actually own the lodge?**
Yes. You purchase your lodge and have the relevant agreement for your plot on the park. In other words, it’s your lodge — not a holiday rental you’re simply hiring.

**Can I rent my lodge out when I’m not using it?**
Yes, subject to the park's arrangements and terms. Many owners choose to generate rental income from their lodge when they're not enjoying it themselves.

**Do I have to buy a lodge that's already on the park?**
No! Depending on the plot, you can have a lodge designed and specified to suit you — from the layout and bedrooms to the interior finishes.

One of the first things people ask when they enquire about owning a lodge is:

“Okay… but what are the costs?”

So here are 5 questions we get asked regularly.

**How much does a lodge at Faringdon Grange cost?**
Prices depend on the lodge, plot, specification and location. We currently have opportunities starting from around **£255,000**.

**What's included in the annual site fee?**
The current annual site fee is **£4,200**, which includes water. Gas and electricity are separately metered.

** Are there any other bills?**
You'll need to budget for your metered utilities, insurance and the usual costs associated with owning and maintaining a holiday lodge.

**Can I make money from my lodge?**
Potentially, yes. Owners can choose to make their lodge available for holiday letting when they're not using it themselves. Rental performance will naturally depend on factors such as the lodge, season, availability and demand.

**Is buying a lodge an investment?**
It can be used as a holiday home that also has rental potential, but we always recommend looking at the purchase as **lifestyle + potential income**, rather than assuming a guaranteed return.

**Can I let my lodge to holiday guests?**
Yes, holiday letting is an option at Faringdon Grange, subject to the park's arrangements and terms.

**Do I have to rent it out?**
Absolutely not! If your lodge is your escape from everyday life, you can simply use it yourself.

**Can I block out dates for myself?**
Yes. Owners can plan their own stays around the periods they want to enjoy their lodge.

**Is there demand for holiday lodges in this area?**
Faringdon Grange has the advantage of being in a brilliant location for exploring Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds, with plenty to do within easy reach — whether that's food, shopping, countryside or a day out.

**Who looks after the lodge between guests?**
Holiday letting can be managed through the arrangements available at the park, taking care of the practical side of preparing the lodge for guests.
