๐Ÿ™ˆ Oxford City Council then spent a decade trying to have the sculpture taken down... with the decision-making going as far as the then Secretary of State Michael Heseltine.โ

๐Ÿ”€ Almost 40 years on and the tables have turned as the same city council that fought to have the shark removed still believes it should be added to the Oxford Heritage Asset Register.โ

๐Ÿ˜ƒ This museum is unlike any other... deeply atmospheric with artefacts arranged by type into a โ€˜democracy of thingsโ€™, rather than by time or region.โ

๐Ÿ“ฝ It looks and feels like what I imagine a Hollywood Producer thinks a British Museum should look.โ

๐Ÿ› High ceilings with all manner of curiosities in wooden glass cases and hand-written labels.โ

๐Ÿพ As Spring approaches, Locals are getting excited at the prospect of taking a picnic with a punnet of Strawberries and a cheeky bottle of bubbly. It is, without a doubt, the most relaxing way to spend an afternoon in Oxford.โฃโ

๐Ÿ‘From you can head upstream to the or downstream over Parson's Pleasure into the University Parks.โฃโ

โค๏ธ We offset more than twice the carbon we're responsible for and are constantly innovating and changing practices to reduce our Carbon Footprint. โ
