A difficult decision ❤️
After a huge amount of thought, we’ve made the difficult decision that the Bistro will be closing its doors in early October.
The Bistro has been such a huge part of our lives, and we’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built and of all the memories we’ve made along the way.
But sometimes you have to take a step back and look at what really matters.
For us, that is family.
Running a restaurant is demanding at the best of times, but the current economic climate has made it harder than ever. Rising costs, increasing overheads and the pressures of running a small independent business have all played a part in our decision.
Ultimately, though, this is a family decision. We’ve reached a point where we want to put more time and energy into our family, enjoy life outside of the Bistro, and be there for the moments that matter.
We’re incredibly grateful to every single person who has supported us. To those who have eaten with us, celebrated with us, recommended us to friends, left kind reviews, worked with us, or simply walked through our doors…thank you.
We’ve been incredibly lucky to have had such wonderful customers and to have been part of so many people’s special occasions and memories. That is something we will always be proud of.
There is still time to visit us before we close, and we’d absolutely love to see as many of you as possible over the coming weeks.
It’s the end of a very special chapter for our family, and while there is inevitably some sadness, we’re also looking forward to what comes next.
