Within easy reach of St Merryn village and 6 Dog Friendly beaches, open all year round to dogs. We've rented Towan House since 1986...during the time we let, our place of abode was The Shed...right behind the house. Last year we fully renovated to a high standard of finish and attention to detail. This is not your average holiday let. Quirky, Homely and Compact with everything you will need for a

comfortable stay! Funky Artwork throughout. Barbeque, decking, garden and seating. There is off road parking. Fully enclosed deck and garden. Facilities include: Free WiFi, 4 ring, 2 oven and grill gas cooker, fridge-freezer, washing machine, microwave oven, SMART TV. The Shed is also centrally heated with unlimited instant hot water. All crockery, pots pans etc and utensils are provided to a very high standard. This part of the area is surrounded by field walks to some of the most stunning beaches in North Cornwall. Merryn village is less than a mile away where there are restaurants, pubs, shops, a newsagents, a surf shop, petrol station and garage and one of the Best Bakeries around! There's also an excellent Dog Friendly tea room! Surf schools operate locally with hire facilities.

Our Story

We have a 5 star rating here on Facebook and also on TripAdvisor. We sleep 6 people in 3 bedrooms. 1 x King, 1 x double and bunkbeds in the smallest room.

We’re located halfway between the village of St Merryn and Constantine Bay. Ideally situated for the 6 Beautiful beaches surrounding this area which are open to dogs all year round! Towan House has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment...we have two double bedrooms, one bunk room, bathroom and shower, all on the first floor. This is not your average holiday house.....'lots of original features and artwork throughout! On the ground floor is the entrance hall and large lounge/dining area and kitchen which leads through French doors to an enclosed rear garden (sun trap) with barbecue, patio and seating. There is parking for up to three cars. No extra charges for dogs, they're on holiday too! Facilities include: Free WiFi, SMEG 5 ring burner hob with 3 electric ovens cooker, American fridge-freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave oven, SMART TV's throughout the house, Technics audio, library and woodburner. Towan house is also centrally heated with unlimited instant hot water. All Bed linen, towels, crockery and utensils are provided to a very high standard.
