We invite you to come and enjoy our stunning sea views and relax in our comfortably furnished self catering accommodation, just 200 yards from superb sandy beach and coastal footpath. We have 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments and a detached 4 bedroom house. FIRST FLOOR ACCOMMODATION

throom. With stunning sea views from each room. APARTMENT 5 Has a large open plan lounge kitchen/diner with sea and country views, a double bedroom with en-suite; and a twin / double room also with en-suite;. SECOND FLOOR ACCOMMODATION
Upstairs and tucked away from the comings and goings relax and enjoy fantastic sea and coastal views

APARTMENT 6 Is divided into two self contained sections either side of the landing area. The front section with balcony overlooking the bay, comprises lounge/diner; kitchen; double bedroom with en-suite. The other section consists of two bedrooms and a bathroom. APARTMENT 7 Comprises of a large lounge facing the sea with adjoining fully fitted kitchen/dining area; two sunny bedrooms; bathroom and separate wc. Shops and amenities within one mile. Historic harbour town of Padstow is only 2.5 miles away. There are numerous leisure pursuits nearby including 2 championship golf courses. For sightseeing day trips all areas of Cornwall can be reached within an hours drive.

Apartment 4 Left on Jan 3, 2025 for a stay in Jan 2025Probably one of the best situated self catering and affordable accommodations In Cornwall! Who doesn’t want to be able to walk to a most beautiful beach in 5 minutes and then come home to a comfortable, well equipped apartment with sea view?! Some great walks to be had on the SW coast path which is steps away. Great place to come with your children or friends!

We (family with 3 children) spent a week at Yellow Sands. The apartment is very well equipped and has a stunning view . The owners are really supportive and friendly. Yellow Sands is situated close to the beach . Via a private road and footpath you are there in no time. At the beach you find two bars with nice food . In easy walking distance to Yellow Sands is the hotel and restaurant The Pig/Lobster Shed , where they serve very nice seafood. Harlyn Bay is a good starting point for trips to Padstow, Tintangel, but also The lost Gardens of Heligan or Pencarrow.

We have just returned from a lovely week’s stay in Apartment 4 at Yellow sands. We have stayed in the house at Yellow Sands in the previous 3 years with our family group, but this year we were just 3 adults, so we chose the apartment. The views are stunning from the lounge and kitchen along with the bonus of a balcony. The apartment was spotlessly clean, well equipped , functional and very comfortable, all factors that we value. There was also a beautiful sheltered garden available for the apartments. Communication from Martin and Debbie, the owners, was spot on from our first enquiry onwards and always has been in our previous dealings. The location is fabulous with an easy stroll down to beautiful Harlyn beach and the area around is unrivalled for unspoilt beauty. I’m sure we will return again!.

Easter is here, we have reopened and the bluebells are out in force to welcome everyone back to Yellow Sands.

As usual during the early part of the year we have been busy with spring cleaning, painting and replacing bedding, curtains and carpets so we are all ready for your visit.

Thankfully all the restaurants and attractions are open with no restrictions this year and looking foreword to a busy year.

We hope to see you here too.

We would just like to wish all our guests a very Merry Christmas, especially to those who had wanted to be at Yellow Sands but are unable to travel due to the restrictions.

It is far better to have a scaled down Christmas this year and everyone safe and well for next year.

My step father and Martin’s mum and dad have had their first vaccine and will have the second at the beginning of January so the light is beginning to shine at the end of the tunnel, by this time next year most of us will be vaccinated and life will be back to normal and the stress of cooking for 14 people on Christmas day will be our main concern.

We hope you get the presents you want and a relaxing and peaceful Christmas.

Well the season turned out ok in the end, our last guests left on Saturday 7th and we have closed up Yellow Sands for the lockdown, we have people hoping to come back in December when we can all travel again.

We would normally be on holiday ourselves now but as we can't we are going to paint at home instead, its a bit over due so should keep us busy for a few days.

With the good news on the vaccine we are looking forward to getting back to near normal next year but the garden and the house have benefitted from the lockdowns so every cloud has a silver lining.

I hope you are all staying safe at home and doing something useful too.

Its been an odd season but we made it through thanks to diligent cleaning and hand sanitisers.

Yellow Sands and Cornwall in general has been full to bursting since July 4th when we opened for business. Restaurant's, cafe's, attractions and gardens have adapted and visitors have had a near normal experience. Even the weather wasn't too bad so people have been swimming, surfing and relaxing on the beach without the bother of a flight.

Thankfully we are still busy till the end of October and even some bookings in November and of course we have our usual guests coming for Christmas and New Year .

We might have had an odd start to the year but it turned out ok in the end.

Dear All,

We hope this email finds you and your family safe and well.

We are getting Yellow Sands ready to open from 4th July and really look forward to seeing everyone back again.

Restaurants and cafés are opening on 4th July but are also doing takeaways if you don’t want to sit in.

The Attractions are opening but are suggesting that people call and book a time to visit to avoid disappointment as they have to reduce the number of people allowed in

We are taking some precautions to keep everybody safe by covering the tops of wooden furniture with coverings that can be disinfected and put plastic table clothes on the dining tables. We are minimising touch points by taking out any knickknacks, books, games, videos and cushions (you can bring your own if you wish) things we can’t disinfect properly. We have covered the sofa’s with throws that can be washed at 60 degrees between guests.

There will be hand sanitisers in the front hall and we ask everyone to use it on entry.

We have been asking people, if possible, to bring their own bed linen or at least pillows and cases, space allowing, to minimise risk.

Also we have had to say that only the people booked in will be allowed into each property and no visitors will be allowed on site or in any of the properties, again to minimise the risk to all.

Unfortunately arrival time will probably be an hour or two later as we are just coming to grips with the new cleaning system so will let you know more definite nearer the time.

We will also have to ask you to vacate the property no later than 10am so we can get going with the cleaning promptly.

It’s going to be an odd year but we will get through it together.

We look forward to seeing you all soon, and will be in touch with any further updates prior to your arrival .
