Due to the amount of last minute cancellations we are experiencing we have no alternative than to introduce the following policy on all bookings ‼️
CARAVAN HOLIDAY LET – TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Booking Confirmation
A booking will only be confirmed once the required deposit has been received.
Deposits
* Off-Peak Bookings: £100 non-refundable deposit.
* Summer School Holiday Bookings: £200 non-refundable deposit.
The lead guest making the booking must be aged 21 years or over and accepts responsibility for all members of the party.
2. Payment of Balance
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 6 weeks before arrival.
For bookings made within 6 weeks of the holiday start date, full payment is required at the time of booking.
Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking and loss of the deposit.
3. Cancellation Policy
All deposits are non-refundable.
Should you need to cancel your holiday, the following charges will apply:
Time Before Arrival Refund Due
More than 6 weeks Balance refunded (deposit retained)
4–6 weeks 50% of total holiday cost refunded
2–4 weeks 25% of total holiday cost refunded
Less than 14 days No refund
No refunds will be given for:
* Early departure.
* Non-arrival (no-show).
* Adverse weather conditions.
* Travel disruption.
* Illness or personal circumstances.
If we are able to re-let the caravan for the same dates, a partial refund may be considered at our discretion, less the non-refundable deposit and any administrative costs.
We strongly recommend that guests obtain suitable holiday cancellation insurance.
4. Security/Damage Bond
A refundable security bond of £100 will be requested before arrival.
The bond will be returned within 7 days of departure, subject to:
* No damage to the caravan or its contents.
* No excessive cleaning being required.
* No missing items.
* No breach of these terms and conditions.
The owner reserves the right to deduct reasonable costs for repairs, replacement items, additional cleaning or damage caused during the stay.
5. Occupancy
The number of guests staying in the caravan must not exceed the maximum occupancy stated in the booking confirmation.
Only those guests named on the booking may stay in the caravan.
Subletting or transferring the booking is not permitted.
6. Check-In and Check-Out
* Check-in: From 4:00pm
* Check-out: By 10:00am
Early arrival or late departure may be available by prior arrangement only.
7. Smoking and Va**ng
Smoking and va**ng are strictly prohibited inside the caravan.
Guests who smoke or v**e inside the caravan will be liable for:
* Specialist cleaning costs.
* Odour removal treatment.
* Any loss of subsequent bookings caused by the caravan being unavailable.
Smoking is permitted outside only. Cigarette ends must be disposed of safely and responsibly.
8. Pets
Pets are only permitted if agreed at the time of booking.
Pet owners must:
* Keep pets under control at all times.
* Ensure pets do not cause nuisance to neighbouring guests.
* Clean up after their pets.
* Prevent pets from fouling inside the caravan.
* Keep pets off beds and soft furnishings.
Any damage, staining or additional cleaning costs arising from pets will be charged to the guest.
Pets must not be left unattended in the caravan for extended periods.
9. Electric Vehicle Charging
For safety and insurance reasons, charging electric vehicles, e-bikes, electric scooters or mobility scooters from the caravan’s electrical supply is strictly prohibited.
Guests must use designated charging facilities provided by the holiday park where available.
Unauthorised charging may result in:
* Immediate termination of the holiday without refund.
* Charges for any damage caused.
* Recovery of additional electricity costs.
10. Guest Conduct
Guests agree to:
* Respect neighbouring caravan owners and holidaymakers.
* Keep noise to a reasonable level at all times.
* Observe any site rules and regulations.
* Leave the caravan in a clean and tidy condition.
* Report any breakages or maintenance issues immediately.
Excessive noise, anti-social behaviour, abusive conduct, illegal activity or breaches of site rules may result in immediate eviction without refund.
11. Parties and Group Bookings
Hen parties, stag parties and large single-sex groups are not permitted unless agreed in writing before booking.
The owner reserves the right to refuse entry to any group that has not disclosed the nature of their booking.
12. Cleaning
The caravan must be left in a clean and tidy condition.
Guests are expected to:
* Wash and put away crockery and utensils.
* Remove rubbish to the designated disposal points.
* Leave the caravan in a reasonable state.
Additional cleaning charges may apply where excessive cleaning is required.
13. Breakages and Damage
Guests are responsible for any loss, damage or breakages caused by members of their party.
Any damage must be reported as soon as possible.
The cost of repairs or replacement may be deducted from the security bond or invoiced separately if necessary.
14. Liability
The owner accepts no responsibility for:
* Loss, theft or damage to guests’ personal belongings.
* Injury, accident or illness occurring during the holiday, except where caused by proven negligence of the owner.
* Circumstances beyond the owner’s control including severe weather, utility failures, park closures or government restrictions.
Vehicles and personal belongings are left entirely at the owner’s risk.
15. Right to Refuse or Terminate a Booking
The owner reserves the right to:
* Refuse any booking.
* Cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances.
* Terminate a holiday without refund if guests breach these Terms & Conditions or site regulations.
16. Acceptance of Terms
Payment of the deposit confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions by the lead guest on behalf of all members of the booking party.
By making a booking, guests acknowledge that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
