Due to a cancellation, we have one room available for our 3-night Creative Writing Mini-Break.

Get your creative juices flowing! Stay in one of our unique author-themed rooms in our book-themed guesthouse, enjoy nourishing plant-based meals, explore the naturally-inspiring Torbay coast, and work on your writing with a small supportive group of like-minded folk, lead by facilitator Jane McKears.

All welcome - whether you're an absolute beginner or a published author, we're sure you'll enjoy this mini-break.

One room available@ our Alice Walker room (2 single beds, ideal for sharing). Bed, Breakfast and Evening Meal by the amazing vegan chef £420 for 2 sharing / £315 for single occupancy.

This May Bank Holiday (2 to 4 May), the Brixham community comes together once again to celebrate one of the town’s most loved events.

From lively parades to seafaring shenanigans, the Pirate Festival brings residents, visitors, businesses, and volunteers together for a weekend full of colour, creativity and coastal fun.

The Brixham Pirate Festival is free to attend and relies on the incredible support of local donors, sponsors, and volunteers. Every contribution helps keep this community led celebration alive – it’s never too late to get involved or donate.

It’s set to be a brilliant weekend in Brixham – we hope you enjoy the festivities!
