We have so many regular guests now who feel more like friends. When they return we always have a little catch up and they often ask what our daughters have been up to (they are always up to something!)
Well, this September Isla and her cousin Meave are travelling to Tanzania to volunteer in a school there and when we were away in Austria, they made the decision to add a climb up Kilimanjaro because, well, why not!
Since making these plans, life took one of its nasty turns and we tragically lost their aunty, my sister Bridgette. So, in her honour, the girls have decided to raise money for the critical care unit at Stoke Hospital.
They cared for her and our family so well during her time there.
Their climb begins on 24th September, the date of Bridgette’s first heavenly birthday, how fitting is that ❤️
