My 2015 model ABI Alderley is a stunning 'Platinum' graded, top of the range holiday home, new to the rental market in 2016, situated on the 5* Par Sands Coastal Holiday Park in Cornwall (between Fowey and St Austell, postcode PL24 2AS). nd. It is situated a stone's throw away, through the dunes from the large, sandy and sheltered Par Beach, which shelves very gently, is ideal for holidaymakers. On site there is a Clubhouse with indoor swimming pool and tennis courts (membership cards provided) plus other facilities such as a putting green, adventure play areas and a coffee lounge. There is also a launderette together with an exciting new Italian Restaurant opening in April 2016. The holiday home's kitchen and dining area are fully equipped and include a gas cooker, large fridge freezer, microwave, kettle etc. There is crockery and glassware for 6 and ample cupboard storage for groceries. A gated outside decking area (south facing) opening from the kitchen holds a picnic table (with sun parasol) and four chairs for alfresco mealtimes. The lounge has a 40" Flatscreen TV, Freesat, Blu-ray DVD player and a speaker dock with iPod/iPad (lightning) connections plus inputs for 'Aux' (3.5mm jack) and 'USB'. There are two sofas, one of which converts to a sofa bed enabling the holiday home to accommodate 6 people in total if necessary. A selection of family board games and books are also provided for guests' use. Another outside decking area (west facing) leads from the lounge through double patio doors and holds a wicker settee, two armchairs and coffee table. The main bedroom houses a king size bed, an en-suite WC and basin (with heated towel rail), ample hanging and drawer space and a hair dryer. There is a wall mounted Freesat TV that also plays DVD's/CD's. The second bedroom has twin beds and further hanging cupboard space. We supply bed linen for the main and the second bedrooms plus, if required, for the sofa bed. Guests need only bring their own bath, hand, beach and tea towels etc. The main bathroom has a large shower unit, WC, basin and heated towel rail. The holiday home has it's own tarmaced car parking space with paving leading to the entrance decking steps. Behind this decking area is a storage box containing outdoor toys and beach equipment for guests' use during their stay. Behind the holiday home there is a lawned area which is bounded by a low hedge and provides a contained play/sunbathing area for guests. Local Facilities:
As you enter Par Sands you will pass The Ship Inn, an 18th century pub with great food and 2 large beer gardens (one family friendly and the other adults only). Opposite The Ship Inn is The Royal Massala Indian Restaurant. Par itself - a thriving working village with a strong community - is just a few minutes' walk from Par Sands. There are options of 3 different footpaths but the most direct leads a quarter of a mile (on flat ground) directly North to the village. In Par you will find a selection of small supermarkets, pubs, takeaway restaurants, a coffee shop, award winning fish and chip shop, laundry/dry cleaner, jeweller, library, beauty salons and a Post Office. You will also find local bus stops in the village, (services to Fowey and St Austell/Truro) and mainline Par Railway Station (First Great Western service Penzance-London Paddington) which also runs a branch line service to the North Cornwall coast at Newquay. Par Sands is also a perfect base for walkers, as the South West Coast Path is right on your doorstep. Zig zag over the cliffs enjoying the spectacular views, small coves, quaint villages and many other places of interest along the way. Designated routes easily accessible from Par Sands include: The South West Coast Path, Cornwall's Clay Trails, The Saints' Way. The Eden Project, Cornwall's award winning visitor attraction, is only a 10 minute drive away. The stunning Lost Gardens of Helligan are less than a half hour drive.
