🦞 Zoom's Road Trip Diaries | The Pierhouse, Port Appin
If you're touring Scotland's west coast and enjoy incredible seafood, The Pierhouse at Port Appin deserves a place on your itinerary.
Overlooking Loch Linnhe with breathtaking views towards the mountains, it's one of those places where the setting is every bit as memorable as the food.
We treated ourselves to the famous seafood platter... and at £120, it certainly isn't cheap—but with fresh oysters, langoustines, lobster, mussels, smoked salmon, crab and more, we'd happily say it was worth every penny.
While you're here you can also:
🏰 Visit the iconic Castle Stalker, one of Scotland's most photographed castles.
⛴️ Hop on the short passenger ferry to the peaceful island of Lismore for walking, wildlife and stunning views.
🌅 Finish the day watching the sun set across Loch Linnhe with the mountains providing the perfect backdrop.
Sometimes it's worth slowing down, treating yourself and soaking up everything the Scottish west coast has to offer.
Would you splash out on a seafood platter like this, or are you more of a fish and chips by the harbour kind of traveller? 😄
