🎄 Merry Christmas from Townsend Touring Park 🎄

This year at Townsend started like any other…
Quiet winter mornings. Hopeful spring bookings. Big plans behind the scenes.

Then came the moment that changed everything.

A summer that wasn’t supposed to happen the way it did.
Portable showers. Temporary toilets. A season that tested patience, resilience, and good humour — from us and from every guest who stuck with us through it.

And while all of that was happening… something else quietly unfolded.

Weeks of sunshine. A rare Herefordshire summer where the rain forgot about us entirely. Grass that simply stopped growing. Mowers that barely left the workshop. A kind of weather we’ve honestly never really seen at Townsend before.

By the time autumn rolled in, the challenge had become the opportunity.

Because from the ashes of one of our toughest moments came something we’re genuinely proud of…

✨ A fully refurbished toilet and shower block — finished, reopened, and better than it has ever been.

Thank you to every guest who supported us, laughed with us, and stuck by us through a year that proved just how special this place — and its people — really are.
