Only got 3 hours to play? Go by sea!

We are lucky to live and work so close to Britain's most beautiful coastline, so on the rare occasion when the weather, sea conditions and our timetable combine, we make the most of it!

For this trip we paddled out of West Angle Bay (about a 20-minute drive from the campsite) until we could see Freshwater West beach, hauled up on rocks for a little picnic before heading back to the beach for the warmest Pembrokeshire sea swim of our lives!

***Half Term Camping Cancellation!***
AND LOOK AT THE WEATHER! ☀️☀️☀️☀️🤩🤩🤩🤩

Following a cancellation, we now have a fixed, 4-night camping stay available in half term next week, from Monday 25 to Friday 29 May.

Pitch 4 gets the evening sun and is suitable for a tent, campervan, motorhome, roof tent - whatever you want to stay in.

We are hosting one of our wood-fired takeaway pizza nights on the Thursday (28th) and a sourdough delivery is available from

Our one and only glamping pod is available this bank holiday weekend! Fri 22 to Mon 25 May.

This is our only availability during Whitsun half term (we are fully booked for camping from Friday 22nd May and full for glamping from Monday 25th May).

3 nights, up to 4 people, and we welcome dogs.

The lilies are out at Bosherston Lily Ponds!

Lots already at Stackpole Court Site end, just a few so far at the Bosherston end.

A beautiful, peaceful walk, either way. (And you can walk here from our campsite in 30 to 40 minutes 💚).

In case you caught our post back in March, no - the steps have not yet reappeared at Broadhaven South!

Wind-blown sands from the beach buried the entire flight of steps over winter. We thought they'd have been uncovered again by now, at least some of them, but nope! Still underground!

It is pretty tough-going now from the beach back up to the car park. The slope is extremely steep.

So if you don't fancy it, take the longer but fairly level route from Bosherston village, or from the other end of the lily ponds at Stackpole Court site - both beautiful walks. (Buggies and wheelchairs will need the odd helping hand-lift here and there).

You're not too late for the bluebells!

We are loving late evening walks now the days are so long, and tonight was a beaut!

The bluebells are still looking and smelling heavenly in Castle Dock Woods, and the sunset light around the Stackpole Estate is like a snuggly blanket of loveliness!

The bluebells will have gone over in a few days' time, so get out and experience the best free show in town!

Following a cancellation, our gorgeous glamping pod is now available for the late May Bank Holiday weekend!

Friday 22nd to Monday 25th May (3 nights).

It sleeps 4 in a main double bed and a double sofa bed. We welcome dogs, but there's really only room for one.

The pod has its own shower and toilet, little kitchen area, and it even has a TV (and underfloor heating which you likely won't need).

Outside you can still get your camping fix by cooking on a tarp-covered gas hob or in the open on a large fire pit.

We'll be firing up our wood-fired pizza oven for takeaway artisan pizzas on the Saturday night too 😋
