pubs and local restaurants are all within easy walking distance. Tenby town is just a mile away and easy access to the spectacular Pembrokeshire National Park coastal paths is just a short walk away. A regular bus service runs through the village and the railway station is conveniently situated near the village centre.

Saundersfoot to Tenby: a coastal walk packed with stunning sea views. ❤️👣

The walk from Saundersfoot to Tenby follows the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast Path for around 4.2 miles, taking in clifftop views, wooded sections, hidden coves and some fantastic stretches of coastline along the way.

The route is generally classed as moderate, with about 475ft of ascent and some steeper, uneven sections, so wear decent footwear. Allow 2–3 hours depending on your pace and how often you stop to enjoy the views or take photos.

Along the way you’ll pass close to places such as Monkstone Beach before eventually arriving in Tenby, where the colourful harbour, beaches and winding streets make a pretty good reward for the effort.

If you don’t fancy walking back, you can catch the bus to Saundersfoot.
