🌼🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Happy St David’s Day from beautiful Wales! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🌼
Today we celebrate our patron saint, Saint David, and everything that makes Wales so special.
From breathtaking mountain views in Snowdonia to the stunning coastline of Pembrokeshire Coast, ancient castles, cosy pubs, and the warmest of welcomes — Wales truly has a magic all of its own. 💚
There’s a beautiful Welsh word you might hear while you’re here: hiraeth (pronounced heer-eye-th).�It doesn’t translate perfectly into English, but it describes a deep longing for home — a homesickness mixed with love, pride, and belonging. It’s that feeling you get when you leave Wales… and can’t wait to return.
And if you’d like to wish someone a Happy St David’s Day in Welsh, you say:

As this year comes to an end, we just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported Y Beudy Cottage ❤️

This year has been a massive learning curve for us, especially with the rebranding, and we honestly couldn’t have done it without you. We’ve met hundreds of amazing people and their wonderful dogs 🐾, made new friends along the way, and shared so many lovely moments here. We love sharing or beautiful part of the world with you!
We are incredibly grateful (and still a bit amazed!) to say we are fully booked for 2026! The support, kind words, and recommendations have meant the world to us.
We can’t wait to see what’s to come next year, and we’ll be sure to keep you updated with any cancellations or availability that pop up.

As the year comes to a close, we just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who has stayed with us at Y Beudy Cottage this year.
Thank you for choosing us for your holidays, for sharing your beautiful photos, leaving such lovely reviews, sending messages, cards and even gifts, and for supporting us through our rebrand — it has truly meant the world to us.

❄️ Winter on the Farm – What’s Coming This Season ❄️
As winter settles over our corner of Wales, the farm takes on a quieter, old-world charm. If you’re visiting us in the colder months, here’s a little taste of what you’ll find…

🌾 Frost-Kissed Mornings
Most days begin with the crunch of frost under your boots and mist curling over the fields. And if we’re lucky, a dusting of snow turns the farm into a proper winter postcard — white roofs, sparkling hedgerows, and the hills looking like they’ve been dipped in sugar.

🔥 Simple, Snug Evenings
After a day exploring, there’s nothing better than heading back to a warm log fire, cwtchy blankets, and a pot of something hearty on the stove. Winter is when the farm truly invites you to slow down. You can even jump into the log fired hot tub, if you’re brave enough!

🌌 Dark Skies & Quiet Nights
With long nights and clear air, the stars seem brighter out here. Some evenings feel like the whole sky is putting on a show just for us.

🐦 Wildlife Close By
Robins perch on gateposts, buzzards circle above the frosty fields, and you might catch sight of a fox trotting the hedgerows at dawn.

✨ The Heart of Winter
It’s a season of stillness, graft, and simple comforts — a chance to breathe deep, bundle up, and enjoy the countryside at its most peaceful.
