Made and produced locally each jar is single source being a batch from a single apiary gently harvested to preserve its natural flavour with subtle floral notes from local forage ideal for toast, cooking or pairing with cheese 🧀

The bees are back and are busy making honey 🍯 ready for our guests to enjoy 🐝


Why this honey is the best ?

Better flavour by far !! Local honey reflects the flowers growing nearby and with the SSSI meadows and Peak District heather moorland this honey will have characteristics difficult to replicate elsewhere
Each jar will reflect what the bees have been harvesting … delicious 🤤

10.45pm and the farmer is working to get the hay baled in the Shepherds hut field …. It’s set to be a warm week ahead!

If you are here for the weekend and have a sweet tooth head to the NEW Silo at Milk from the Hills … open 1-8pm Situated in the hills of Yorkshire on the edge of Pen*stone … this is a true working farm. You get to meet the lovely cows 🐄 and you can choose from waffles 🧇 stuffed cookies 🍪 brownies and Gelato 🍧 made on site…. Tried and tested several times and I can honestly say the Biscoff waffles are the best around !! ⭐

At the top of the lane I took a quick photo of this very organised hay field ! With the heatwave most the farmers have taken full advantage and set to work …. This years cut is looking incredible after a shortage last year …. Plenty of things to see on your walks this time of year 🌾🚜🇬🇧
