Millbrook is a family run bed & breakfast located at the edge of the Peak District National Park on the banks of the River Don.

Close to Holmfirth, the Trans Pennine Way, multiple biking routes and footpaths, Millbrook is ideally situated for all manner of activities and places of interest. Fifteen minutes from Barnsley, forty minutes from Manchester and half an hour from Sheffield, Millbrook is also an ideal business stopover. Non-smoking, facilities include wireless internet access, drying room, bike storage/washing, tea & coffee facilities and television.

Christmas greetings to one and all.!
Another year has flown by, we have been running the B&B for nearly 20 years! Now we are feeling our age more we have decided to reduce what we offer.

The Studio is available most Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays (holidays and family commitments permitting). We have someone staying on a regular basis Monday to Thursday.
Rooms 2 is also available and also during the week. It's best to phone up or drop us an email to find out the state of play.

Room 3 has had a makeover! A spacious room with shower room ensuite.
Don't forget there is plenty to do in the area. Cannon Hall Farm is only 15 minutes away.

Spring has finally arrived at Millbrook! The view this afternoon was fantastic, the daffodils on the river bank are mainly out and to cap it all the farmer has put the sheep and lambs in the field. There was much baaing in the air, in competition with the quacking of the ducks who go mad at this time of year.
If you are thinking of coming to stay there are a few dates available for self catering in the Studio after April 12th. The B&B reopens on May 29th. Give us a ring if we appear booked out on your dates in the summer, waiting for number 1 son to decide what he is doing. He lives in France and M Macron is not being very helpful!
