Helo a diolch i holl breswylwyr a busnesau Penmachno a Cwm Penmachno wrth i ni geisio llywio'r heriau sy'n gysylltiedig â gosod dwythellau a cheblau i uwchraddio'r cyflenwad trydan i'r ardal ar ran SP Energy Networks. Dyma ddiweddariad ar ble rydyn ni arni ar hyn o bryd:

Rydym yn mynd i gwblhau adran 50m y tu allan i’r ysgol y penwythnos hwn, 25ain a 26ain o Hydref. Bydd hyn o dan drefniant rheoli traffig “rhoi a chymryd” felly bydd y traffig yn parhau i lifo. Rydym yn cwblhau’r 50m ger mynedfa Bron y Waun i atgyweirio culvert y penwythnos nesaf, 1af a 2il o Dachwedd, eto o dan drefniant “rhoi a chymryd”.

Bydd y rhaglen ar gyfer y cydio (jointing programme) yn dechrau ddydd Llun, 3ydd o Dachwedd, am oddeutu bythefnos. Bydd hyn yn golygu tynnu'r ceblau angenrheidiol trwy'r gwaith dyctio sydd eisoes wedi digwydd. Bydd hyn o dan oleuadau dwy ffordd, gyda rheolaeth traffig â llaw, gan ddechrau ar Heol yr Ysbyty ac yn symud trwy Benmachno ac i fyny at Gaffi Conwy Falls. Ni fyddem yn cau'r ffordd a datgyfeirio traffig. Bydd y gwaith i gyd yn cael ei gwblhau o dan oleuadau dwy ffordd. Mae’r bylchau cydio tua 250m ar wahân ac fe fydd gweithredwyr traffig yn rheoli’r llwybr i sicrhau bod y traffig yn llifo’n rhwydd.

📢AN UPDATE FROM TEAM OPUS📢

Hello and thank you to all Penmachno and Cwm Penmachno residents and businesses as we try to navigate round the challenges of laying down ducts and cables to upgrade the electricity suppl to the area on behalf of SP Networks Energy. Here is an update of where we are at:

We are going to complete 50m section outside the school this weekend 25th and 26th October. This will be under' give and take' so the traffic will be flowing. We are completing the 50m near the culvert not far from the Bron y Waun Junction next weekend 1st and 2nd November, again under give and take.

The jointing programme will start on Monday 3rd November for approx. 2 weeks - where we will be pulling the necessary cables through the ducts. This will be under 2-way lights, with manned TM, starting at Ysbyty Road and heading through Penmachno and up to Conwy Falls Café. No road closure. This will all be completed under 2-way lights. The joint bays are 250m apart and we will have TM operatives managing the route to ensure free flowing traffic.

⚠️ Important Notice - Roadworks in Penmachno

Opus Utility Solutions (on behalf of SP Energy Networks) will be carrying out essential electrical cable upgrades in Penmachno from Monday 6th October to Sunday 12th October.

🚧 Llewelyn Road will be closed during this time, with a traffic diversion in place via Lon Topiau.

🌙 Some work near the school will also take place overnight to minimise disruption.

Here is an important message from Opus Utility Solutions Ltd on behalf of SP Network Energy, who are working on finishing the ducting work for increased electricity cabling capacity for the Penmachno area:

The planned road closure for Monday 8th September has been delayed for several reasons and has now been granted a new start date by the Highways Department, 6th October and we aim to finish by 12th October. We are very sorry for this delay and thank you for being patient while we carry out the excavation work to install more resilient electricity cables for the community.
