y Scar, famous for its limestone pavements. Your horse will have 5 star accommodation and care. You can choose to stay with us in your wagon, camp, bunk house or at our local pub. No problems, you can learn while you are here, our menage has wonderful views. We work closely with Katharine Martin, who can offer you a taster in Working Equitation or lessons in classical dressage, pole work, show jumping, grids and side saddle. We offer various packages for your budget and how much time you want to spend in the saddle. The area also has wonderful spa’s if you want to add some pampering into your break. Boy oh boy it has been wet! With beautiful days like this we are enjoying every moment of our stunning countryside and new arrivals... We still have availability during the late Spring and Summer, if you would like to come and enjoy our guided rides and hospitality.

This is Dunly who is a nine year old ex-racehorse. Dunly is another horse who will be guiding you around the fells and fields. Dunly enjoys eating and giving cuddles to people, he enjoys sleeping and playing with the other horses in his field. when we are around Dunly we always make sure we have a carrot ready for him. He is the family favourite and everyone who has met Dunly loves him.

We had a brilliant time with all our guests this weekend.
There is some last minute availability if you would like to come and enjoy some Cumbrian hospitality, Orton ice cream, stunning views and yes incredible rides. Bring your horse to stay with us. The summer is not over!

Meet Ted he will be one of the horses used for the guided rides. Ted is 11 years old and is an ex-racehorse, who is hoping to get out competing. Ted enjoys being centre of attention, he loves giving people cuddles and loves being fussed over. When Ted is not being ridden he loves sleeping in the field and eating loads of grass. We always make sure we have a pocket full of mints when we around Ted.

Meet some of our team members. Monty the Border Terrier is usually found looking for cuddles from our guests and sleeping in Tents. It is now warm enough for Misty to take her coat off and sunbath in the yard. Tottie is usually found sunbathing in the garden getting some peace and quite away from her daughter Misty.
