We are located on Hesket Caravan Park, a small, quiet site, located alongside the A6, approximately halfway between Penrith and Carlisle. Hesket Hideaway is within easy re

ach of so much in the North Cumbria and Borders area including Penrith, a bustling market town in Cumbria, perfectly located on the edge of the Lake District National Park; The beautiful Eden Valley and North Pennines area which are also on our doorstep, together with easy access to Hadrian's Wall to the north. We are around 10 minutes drive from Carlisle to the north and a further 10 minutes to the Scottish Border. We are only about 10 minutes' drive from the M6 motorway (junction 41 or 42) and the main A66 cross Pennine route. The top end of Ullswater (Pooley Bridge), the nearest lake to us, is about 20 minutes drive. Buses run regularly between Penrith and Carlisle in both directions. We have parking for 1 car. we are also able to accommodate one (1) well behaved dog.

We found Richard and Elaine’s caravan located at the Hesket Caravan Park the perfect place to stay. It’s location was exactly what we were looking for. We arrived there rather late in the evening and had some difficulty finding the location but once there everything worked out well. The caravan provided everything that was needed. It was spotlessly clean. It was great experience living the caravan life. The hosts were very helpful and we had a great time.
