✨ Introducing Room 5 – Our Newest Addition at Abbey House! ✨

Nestled at the very top of our beautiful Victorian townhouse, Room 5 is a cosy and peaceful retreat, full of charm and character. We're now able to accommodate 2 more people along with our other 4 rooms!

Tucked away in our attic, just 15 steps up from the second floor, this lovely new room offers a little extra privacy and a relaxing space to unwind.

Complete with a comfortable double bed, a brand-new private en-suite shower room, new TV, mini fridge, tea and coffee facilities, and complimentary continental breakfast, we've thought of the little touches to make your stay feel special.

Please note that due to its attic location and stair access, Room 5 is best suited to guests with good mobility.

Following yesterday’s exciting announcement…

Next week, we’ll be photographing all of our rooms and updating our social channels, giving you a much better insight into what we offer here at Abbey House B&B.

We’re also working behind the scenes to create our 5th and 6th guest rooms, allowing us to welcome even more guests and offer greater availability throughout the year.

There’s plenty happening at Abbey House, and we’re excited to start sharing more of the property, our rooms and everything you can expect when staying with us.

✨ THE GRAND REVEAL… ✨

Abbey House B&B begins an exciting new chapter under the management of Adam, owner of North Lakes Cottages.

Adam founded North Lakes Cottages after recognising a gap in the market for a more complete, seamless approach to holiday property management. Building on the high standards already established through his other cleaning business, North Lakes Cottages brings together housekeeping, property care, guest communication and day-to-day management under one service.

That same focus on quality, comfort, consistency and guest wellbeing will now be continued in Abbey House.

With strong local knowledge of Penrith and the surrounding Lake District, Adam will be on hand to support guests before, during and after their stay.

Abbey House will also be moving to a fully “self check in” experience, giving guests greater flexibility while still having friendly local support when needed.
