COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Update

We would like to extend a warm welcome and smile to everyone visiting Sharrow Bay Hotel, with the reassurance that we have your health and well being in mind, so you can enjoy a relaxing time with us...

We would like to reassure our guests that we are adhering to the guidelines issued by the British Government, Public Health England and the National Health Service regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The health of our staff and guests is our priority, and we have therefore put in place the following precautionary measures:

- In addition to the existing hand washing facilities around our property, we are supplying antibacterial hand scrub in key locations.
- We have introduced additional cleaning to our already comprehensive routines, especially focusing on touch points such as door handles, public bathrooms, etc. and continue the use of disinfectant.
- All of our staff are receiving regular guidance and updates on how to prevent COVID-19 in the workplace.


In line with Government guidance, if you have a high temperature, or a newly acquired continuous cough, please postpone your visit, and stay home for seven days. Please also ensure that you practice good hand hygiene, following guidelines on how to avoid the virus, details of which can be found on the NHS website.

We continue to welcome guests to our properties, with the reassurance that we have your health and well being as our priority. Do come and spend an enjoyable time here, relaxing with your friends and family.

Over the past 12 months our chosen charity to support has been Fix the Fells, They do a fantastic job of protecting our spectacular Lakeland fells from erosion by maintaining and repairing the upland paths.
We are absolutely delighted to announce that we have raised a total of £2680.00 to donate to this special charity, A big thank you to all of our guests for entering the raffle and congratulations to our three winners Moira Morgan, Rosie Wilson and Mrs C Judson 😀
