This is our neigh-bour, Jeff.
We’ve been pals since I first fed him apples at the back fence.
Jeff can reach the apples on our tree. He also has a large pile next to him.
Jeff insists that I stop clearing the garden and hand feed him today.
10/10 would let Jeff distract me again 😁

The first thing she does when we arrive is check if her friends are at the back fence. And when they see her, even from across the paddock, they come trotting over to welcome her back ☺️

The cottage sleeps 8 people and we’ve no limit’s on pet numbers so it’s the perfect place for a Christmas family reunion. Our log fire and sheltered hot tub will keep you warm whatever the weather. We’re on the doorstep of some of the country’s most beautiful places.

We’ve not many spaces left for the summer but a few nights in August have just opened up. Come and spend some time in our beautiful cottage in the aptly named Eden Valley. There’s so much do do nearby and we’re on the doorstep of the northern Lake District.

We’ve been a little quiet on social media recently. It’s certainly getting busier as the weather is getting warmer.

We spent a few days catching up with friends at Rock Cottage and got out to some of the many wonderful local attractions. With Beatrix Potter World in Windermere, Abbot Lodge Jersey Ice Cream a few minutes away and of course the majestic Lowther Castle just a 10 minute drive from us it was easy to find great family days out. And coming home to the hot tub and log fire was bliss.

There is still space for you to book a winter break with us. If spring is more your thing we know you’ll love how beautifully our garden blooms so book ahead now 🙂

Happy new year everybody 🥳

We’re looking forward to welcoming guests at Rock Cottage in 2024. We still have availability if you’re thinking about your next getaway.

It gets dark early but that won’t stop you enjoying our hot tub before drying off in front of a log fire.

If you have pets they’ll love the spacious, secure grounds and you can relax in our sensory garden whilst they play. Or sip on a fresh coffee and enjoy the view of the Pennines. Maybe our neigh-bours will say hello.
