Talbot House sleeps 5 and Talbot Studio sleeps 2, book separately or as one. No smoking allowed, well behaved pets welcome. We offer secure parking for cars and storage for mountain bikes, as well as shared laundry facilities. For young children we provide a cot and high chair on request. ice includes bed linen and towels. Set in the beautiful conservation village of Helton; 1 mile from Askham, within the National Park, with views over the Lowther Valley. The fells of Helton and Askham are within a 5 minute walk. 10 minute drive will take you to the local market town of Penrith and Lake Ullswater. Helton lies on the Haweswater road. From your doorstep there is excellent walking and cycling up on the fells. Askham offers village shops, two pubs and an open air swimming pool. In Penrith is Rheged, the Alpaca Centre, Eden Ostrich World and a full leisure centre. Ullswater Steamers run all year round. There are a number of historical landmarks including Lowther Castle.
