The Mill Inn Mungrisdale is a 17th century coaching inn set in the heart of the Mungrisdale parish. The views are stunning no matter what time of year you visit. It is also the start of the main walks to Blencathra, Mungrisdale Common, Bowscale, Souther Fell, Bannerdale to name but a few. Whether you like to ramble along at a gentle pace or be more challenged by the rugged terrain on the higher pe

aks, The Mill Inn is the place to be. We are situated in the North Lakes two miles off the A66 between Keswick and Penrith. Going in either direction opens up the access to the whole of the Lake District. As an inn, we have 5 snug and cosy rooms available, all en suite with nice views. Cereals and a fully cooked breakfast are all included in the price. We have real ale on tap and a varied selection of spirits, wine and beer to satisfy most thirsts. Lunch and dinner are served all day, every day throughout the year (except Christmas Day) and a log fire to keep you toasty warm in the colder months. Did I mention that we're dog friendly too?
