🎉Yesterday, Catherine kicked off our first litter pick to raise money for charity 🎉

For 2.5 hours she cleared litter from 5km of path around the beck and became a pro at playing poo bag hide and seek.

2.1 kg, 169 individual items, including

🥤 8 drinks containers

💩 16 poo bags

🧤 5 odd gloves

🎉 Shout out to our amazing Duty Manager Cam, who has not only just completed the The Round 's BGR Metres March Challenge, he's only gone and smashed it!

Cam logged a whopping 16,412m of elevation this month, which averages at ~530m each day 🤯

After a long hiatus, out page is back up and running. We'll be keeping you up to date with hostel news and events, as well as spreading the love for our beautiful local area

YHA’s first priority is the safety of guests and staff. Therefore we have taken the decision to close this hostel in line with Government guidance due to the current Covid-19 conditions.

When we open our doors again, our Covid-19 secure enhanced cleaning and safety procedures will be in place at every YHA hostel.

This hostel is temporarily closed for recreational use over winter. However, there are several hostels open across England & Wales throughout winter for customers to enjoy - https://www.yha.org.uk/winter-stays

Our accommodation will be moving from leisure to support the NHS, homelessness and other organisations.
