One of the lovely things about staying with us is having the River Eden right at the bottom of the site. Follow the river and you can make your way towards the beautiful Eden Bridge, linking the villages of Kirkoswald and Lazonby.

The bridge you see today dates back to 1762 and is built from local red sandstone, with four rounded arches spanning the river. It’s also a Grade II listed structure and a scheduled monument, so there’s plenty of history beneath your feet as you cross.

A perfect little outing for a quiet morning or an evening stroll.
