Beare's Den is a simple, yet stunning coastal campsite. It boasts some of the best views from Mounts Bay to the Lizard Peninsula. Camping for us is about keeping it simple whilst making sure your requirements are taken care of. We have up-cycled a reclaimed shipping container into a toilet and shower block. The shower block is separated into both male and female with hot running showers and enviro

nmentally friendly compost toilets (which we feed our growing number of sapling tree's throughout the farm). A short walk from the camp field, you'll find yourself at the sea with three choices of coastal locations. So if you fancy swimming at the farms secluded cove, snorkelling at Stackhouse cove or surfing and spending a more traditional beach day at Perranuthnoe... we have you covered. All of which is possible without ever having to start your car. Our farm boasts uninterrupted views, with fields right down to the cliffs and sea. There are various coastal walks and we are proud to be part of the South West coast paths route which takes you either towards Penzance or up and over the majestic Cudden Point in the opposite direction leading towards the beautiful and historic Prussia Cove Estate where you will find even more turquoise coves and a sandy beach called Kennegy Sands. So, if you fancy camping by the warmth of a fire, fishing from fantastic secluded coves or launching your Kayak from our beach to go fishing or exploring, Beare's Den is for you. If you would rather pack a day bag and put on your walking boots, all paths can lead you back to the farm, camp with a conscience at Beare's Den.

From all our team here at Beare’s Den, we just wanted to say what a lovely start to our season this has been. What an AMAZING bank holiday aye;)

Was so lovely to see some familiar faces that we miss so much through the cold winter months here on the cliffs. Grateful to see some new faces pass through our site, who we very much hope to see again soon!!

We hope everyone has relaxed in the warmth over the last few days, and I’m sure some of you caught the sun as is so easily done 😁

Helloooooo everyone!

It has been lovely to see a few familiar faces these past few weeks since we've opened. We're very much looking forward to seeing the rest of you over the coming months!

If you are new to our page and what we do, this is a bit about us.
Here at Beare's Den we try to keep things simple — spacious pitches, fresh air, and plenty of room to switch off for a bit. No fuss, just a good base for exploring the coast or doing very little at all.

Access to the beautiful coves, sandy beaches and coastal walks within a 15 minute walk.

However, this is not all...
If you are staying with us this coming bank holiday weekend Rising embers sauna will also be joining us on site! They are offering slots available to everyone 3:30-7:30pm both Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd of May. Which is in collaboration with our first wood fired pizza Saturday night of the year and open to everyone (5pm to 9pm). So bring your empty bellys and swimming cozzies this weekend 🙂

So Saturdays are 'normally' our pizza nights... well today the weather had served up a South Westerly curve ball and so? We crack on and and i get a smokey conditioner for my already 'singed' head.😁

We have maybe one more week so far, of public bookings and then we'll be looking to arrange the 'New' locals, friends and family Pizza nights.

Its been a long and challenging season but as always, our family are so grateful for all who came to stay and are currently staying with us.

Thank you all and lets cook Pizza! 🐻🤩🙏❤️

Just a little reminder... even amidst the chaos of a 'Cornish Summer' there's peaceful coves and serene camping here at Beare's Den.

Swim in Stack house's blue waters, fish of Cudden point or maybe walk the footpaths and and have a Beer and one of our 'wood fired' pizzas...

I / We aim to slow it down for you and allow you to relax, have space, feel at home and come and be a part of our family and home.

We have 'some' space left for this season but not much, as a family we'll always help out though and make things happen.

Now, we have some very exciting news that I’m sure you’ve all been waiting for…

With the season getting busier, we will be opening our ‘Beare necessities’ horsebox for morning coffees, teas and hot chocolates. We have also updated our menu so expect some tasty new goodies for breakfast!

Our official open date will be the 20th of June ☺️ The crew are looking forward to seeing everyone bright eyed and bushy tailed anytime from 8:00-10:30.

Well the rain has chosen to leave us for the time being, the saplings, plants and grass are super happy.

I've mentioned that 'staff' team have changed this year but i wanted to explain a little more...🐻

So my talented and driven 'co-pilot' in life has decided to pursue a slightly more challenging course of 'action' than surviving me on a daily basis. 🤣

The only 'reason' that 'Beare's Den' exists, Bibba , is not only studying her Masters, completing her 'Therapist' qualifications but also now works full time for a fantastic community project in Penzance.

I have previously mentioned, My new 'Boss', Tamani is now on board and picking up everything so fast, i fear I'll be sacked soon...😅🐻

But as with all changes, sometimes things take a little figuring out and its with this in mind I wanted to say we are working hard to get 'Beare Necessities' and the Pizza nights back open asap.

The new 'boss' has finished her food tickets are we are menu and food provision planning whilst we 'de-winter' certain areas on site.

But we also have some great news this year, we have been blessed with two special souls who are going to stay with us and help Tamani and I with everything.

I'll introduce them both soon as part of our new way of showing 'who we are, what we do and also the bit's i'd rather you didn't see...😅'🤦🐻😁

But for now, 'Beare' with us, join me and the 'Cubs' in saying how proud we are of Bibba for stepping out and following her passion. 😍

So, as always... we are taking bookings fast and we invite you to come camp at our 'almost' fully renewable energy powered campsite.

The two constant and undeniable , predictable forces or events I can count on here at Beare's Den are that, our dogs always want to go with me and that things never stop growing! 😅

I have come to find a certain sense of belonging by taking time with the dogs, mowing footpaths to the beach and taking time to notice the small things.

Trouble is, when you actually look, theres a lot of jobs to do...

Jobs here at Beare's Den always end up mixed in with really beautiful distractions and visual and mental journeys which can keep me from the task at hand😅

I suppose thats the way of it all really, the 'trick' is to balance the work load with time for 'the beautiful things' and to just go easy on myself, the four legged ones and the list of jobs...?
