Hello beautiful people,

I am writing to let you know that due to the prolonged heatwave across Cornwall and recent wildfires in the local area, we are introducing a temporary ban on the use of fire pits at the campsite.

This measure is necessary to protect our guests, staff, surrounding countryside, and local community. Please do not light fire pits, campfires, or any other open flames until further notice.

Charcoal barbecues are currently permitted, provided that they:

* Are raised well above the ground
* Are never left unattended
* Are kept away from tents, vehicles, dry grass, hedges, and other flammable materials
* Have a supply of water beside them at all times
* Are fully extinguished after use, with no hot coals or embers remaining

Please take extra care when disposing of charcoal and ashes. They must be completely cold before disposal.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during these exceptionally dry conditions. The temporary ban will remain in place until the risk has reduced, and we will notify guests when fire pits can be used safely again.

Thank you for helping us keep the campsite and surrounding area safe.

Prepping for pizza in the sun is one of my favourite things to do.

Good morning beautiful people!

The sun is shining yet again and since we've been SO lucky the last few weeks with hot, dry weather we just wanted to let you know that:

The fire service has advised that no open fires or fire pits should be lit for the next 2 weeks as there is such a big risk of wildfires. Small BBQs are okay as long as your fuel is coal and not wood (as coal does not spit).

If you are cooking your dinner on a BBQ please make sure that:
- You have some water close by
- Someone is watching the BBQ at all times
- They are raised at least 1ft off the ground
- Kept well away from tents, dry grass, hedges, vehicles and any other flammable objects
- Finally, fully extinguished so no hot coals are left

We really appreciate your understanding and cooperation with helping us keep the campsite and surrounding areas safe.

Morning sun followed by the last warmth of the evening sun.🐻☀️

From all our team here at Beare’s Den, we just wanted to say what a lovely start to our season this has been. What an AMAZING bank holiday aye;)

Was so lovely to see some familiar faces that we miss so much through the cold winter months here on the cliffs. Grateful to see some new faces pass through our site, who we very much hope to see again soon!!

We hope everyone has relaxed in the warmth over the last few days, and I’m sure some of you caught the sun as is so easily done 😁

Helloooooo everyone!

It has been lovely to see a few familiar faces these past few weeks since we've opened. We're very much looking forward to seeing the rest of you over the coming months!

If you are new to our page and what we do, this is a bit about us.
Here at Beare's Den we try to keep things simple — spacious pitches, fresh air, and plenty of room to switch off for a bit. No fuss, just a good base for exploring the coast or doing very little at all.

Access to the beautiful coves, sandy beaches and coastal walks within a 15 minute walk.

However, this is not all...
If you are staying with us this coming bank holiday weekend Rising embers sauna will also be joining us on site! They are offering slots available to everyone 3:30-7:30pm both Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd of May. Which is in collaboration with our first wood fired pizza Saturday night of the year and open to everyone (5pm to 9pm). So bring your empty bellys and swimming cozzies this weekend 🙂
