⭐⭐⭐ Sennen Market TOMORROW!! ⭐⭐⭐

We are lucky enough in West Penwith to have an incredible array of local food producers and artisan crafters who's wares can be sampled every Tuesday at the wonderful Sennen Farmers Market.

Head to the Community Centre between 09:30 and 12:30 to stock up on local fish, meat, fruit & veg, pies, jam, relish, baked treats, etc. The list goes on!

There is also a wide range of artisan products and gifts including jewellery and crafts, crochet, clothing, flowers & Plants and much more! Upstairs you will also find second hand books for under £1 and jigsaws!

Coffee, tea and hot chocolates are available with the proceeds supporting a different local charity or club each week. This market is not to be missed so be sure to pop down during your stay with us and get yourself a beautiful local gift or delicious treat!

Did you know we are less than 15 minutes from the iconic Minack Theatre?! Undoubtedly one of Cornwall's must-see attractions (although calling it an 'attraction' simply doesn't do it justice), this open air theatre perched on a rocky cliff face has been meticulously hand built over 80 years and has become world famous. It now welcomes over a quarter of a million people each year to enjoy the stunning ocean views and magical live shows of theatre and music with over 200 performances a year.
If a show isn't your thing but you still want to explore this amazing site the theatre and garden is open for visitors from 10am and you can also book a guided tour.

Head to the Minack Theatre website www.minack.com and follow on facebook The Minack Theatre to see performance schedules, current exhibitions and essential tips for your visit.

Cardinneys' quiet rural location is the perfect place to relax and unwind (we are adults only too) but that doesn't mean you have to go without lifes little luxuries!
Just a few minutes down the road is the amazing St.Buryan farm shop selling all local Cornish produce from a family run farm. You will find everything you need from grass-fed beef to homemade cakes, pasties, veg and Cornish fudge! If you need sausages for your BBQ this is the place to go! St Buryan Farm Shop
If you decide to visit Newlyn during your stay with us then be sure to visit the famous Jelberts ice cream. Using the same recipe for their clotted cream vanilla ice cream since the early 20th century it is simply not to be missed!
If cream teas are your thing then you have to try Rosemergy Barns aga-baked scones and cakes. Situated between St.Just and St.Ives you can soak in the stunning sea views whilst indulging in one of our favourite Cornish treats, jam first of course!
If you want to indulge your whole body you can try the Rising Embers wood fired sauna in Penzance, or why not soak up the benefits of the saltwater geothermally heated water of the Jubilee Pool, the UKs largest and most celebrated art deco Lido! Jubilee Pool Rising embers sauna

Dog friendly beaches & walks 🐾
Gwynver - Possibly the best car park views for sunset lovers! Venture down the cliffside path, through the sand dunes and onto a secluded stretch of golden sand.
Long Rock - An expansive shingle and sand beach right in between Marazion and Penzance, with views across Mounts Bay and St Michaels Mount.
Nanjizal Cove - Accessible via the Coast Path. You'll have to ask reception for directions to this hidden gem 🤫
Lamorna Cove- Pretty cove with a great pub, the Lamorna Wink.
Sennen Cove - Before 10am and after 6pm. Perfect timing for a post walk chippy tea from The Blue Lagoon Fish Bar or a morning stretch and some breakfast from Sennen Cove Cafe.
