The Lynwood is a Victorian built guest house just up from the sea in Mounts Bay ready to welcome the weary traveller and holiday maker to the comfort and leisure of a home from home. Being a clean and comfortable family run guesthouse with seven letting bedrooms, we have over the many years of service gained an enviable reputation for cleanliness, cheerful and willing service and good food. We hav

e white bath towels and hand towels, white bed linen and white cosy dressing gowns for those rooms not providing en-suite facilities, along with all the amenities the discerning modern visitor has come to expect. On our breakfast dresser (for self service) we have available fruit juices, freshly prepared fruit of the season (i.e. cut melon, blueberries, raspberries), yoghurts and cereals. In addition you can also choose from a freshly cooked full ‘English Breakfast’ (served to your table), or you may prefer a vegetarian option or continental choice of croissants, jams, marmalade or honey. All our breakfasts are served with tea or fresh coffee and toast. We of course can also provide for special dietary requirements with a little notice.

Road Directions to The Lynwood: Following the A30 into Penzance. Keep to the left at the traffic lights near the railway station. Continue on this road following the signs to Newlyn around the Harbour keeping the sea on your left, cross the Ross Bridge and up onto the Promenade. Keep on past the Jubilee swimming pool; see the Lugger and Wheelhouse restaurant on your right. Now start to look for The Queen's Hotel also on your right and Morrab Road. (nearly there) Turn right into Morrab Road and look for The Lynwood on your left.
