Bleujennow Vegan B&B

Bleujennow Vegan B&B The first vegan B&B in South West Cornwall. Sea view. Penzance. South West Cornwall. West Penwith.

Stepping lightly on the earth is important to us, so as well as avoiding harm to animals by being vegan, we take the environment seriously, and most waste goes into our compost bins, up to Bleujennow Crafts to be upcycled, or recycled. We have solar panels on the roof, high energy performance ratings on all our machines, and reduce water use as much as possible. You are on holiday, so your comfort is our first priority, but we hope you will also be aware of reducing waste and energy!

Just to announce that I've closed Bleujennow for good. A sad moment as I've met so many wonderful people who have stayed with me, but it is the right time. I can hardly believe it but I've been doing it for 10 years!

I am much more tired now and want to save my energy for Cornish dancing in the years that are left!

I want to thank everyone who has stayed here, eaten here and written such lovely comments; I've been going through the many cards and notes guests have left and they brought back very happy memories!

Guests this year will like the new shower! The previous one had become very stiff to turn on and off, so it was time for a change...

I've bought Naked Sprout loo paper this year, as it's recycled and not bleached. Just as soft, and coffee coloured!

Well what a month! People who know me personally may know that I broke my hip 3 weeks ago, throwing April into turmoil! I'm so grateful to the guests who I had to find alternative accommodation for, or who found it themselves. I hope to be able to welcome you here in the future! I'd been visiting my London based daughters, and we had just been to have lunch at Morgan and Watson in Crystal Palace. Do go if you are ever in that area. It was absolutely superb; the best vegan restaurant food I have EVER tasted! But after I fell over a loose paving stone (no alcohol had been taken!) and ended up out of action for a few weeks. I am hoping to be fully recovered by mid-May if not before, metal plates and screws permitting!

This is such a wonderful project run by two wonderful people! It is bringing so much wildlife to Newlyn, including bats, birds, butterflies, moths and more. Please visit when you stay at Bleujennow, or anywhere else nearby. They've just won the Dobbies 'Helping Your Community Grow' award too!
