We have 5 individually designed en-suite rooms containing beautiful period features, original art and an eclectic mix of modern design, antique and mid-century pieces. Venton Vean also has a lovely garden (with seating for guests) containing a mix of rare shrubs and plants which are difficult to grow outside Cornwall. We are members of Sawdays Special Places to Stay and have been recommended by The Times, The Guardian, Tatler, Coast magazine and Homes & Antiques magazine. We are passionate about food, art, design, gardening and Cornwall.

One of the best mid-tide swimming spots in West Cornwall today. On the coast path between Perranuthnoe and Cudden Point, beautiful sheltered pools and channels form as the tide goes out. Perfect for swimming and snorkelling and you’ll probably have it all to yourself.

Even at this time of year, it’s possible to find a virtually deserted beach in Cornwall. This was Godrevy Cove near St Keverne on the Lizard at lunchtime yesterday. It’s a hike to get to, but so worth it for the solitude.
