🥾🌿 River Valley Circular Walk - 3.9 Miles 🌿🥾
Looking for a scenic walk straight from the park? This 3.9-mile circular route is a great way to explore the beautiful Cornish countryside surrounding River Valley. 🌳✨
⚠️ Please note: If the weather has been wet, parts of the route can become very muddy. There are also a couple of hills along the way. While some sections are steep, they can be comfortably managed if you take your time and enjoy the views along the way. 😊
📍 Route Directions:
1️⃣ Access the riverbank through one of the gates in the Orange, Black, or Cream areas and turn left.
2️⃣ Follow the riverbank until you reach the bridge. Cross the bridge and turn left onto Porthcollum Lane. (Pic 2)
3️⃣ Continue along the lane until you reach a road turning on your right (not a footpath). Look out for the blue "Not Suitable for Heavy Vehicles" sign. (Pic 3)
4️⃣ Follow this lane through the countryside. (Pics 4 & 5)
5️⃣ Continue until you reach the junction marked Countess Bridge Lane. (Pic 6)
6️⃣ Turn right and follow the road until you reach the junction with Gurlyn Hill, then turn right again.
7️⃣ Stay on this road until you reach the junction into Relubbus. (Pic 7)
8️⃣ Turn right, and you'll soon find the entrance back into River Valley, completing the circular walk. 🎉
