It’s 1st September… so obviously we’re talking about Christmas. 🎄😂

While everyone else is still clinging onto summer, we’re behind the scenes finalising our Christmas menus at the Coach & Horses.

Pigs in blankets ✔️
An unreasonable amount of gravy ✔️
Me wondering where this year went ✔️😂

Big day for two of our younger members of staff today… GCSE RESULTS DAY! 😬🎉

Good luck to them both, and to everyone else getting their results today 🤞

Whatever that bit of paper says, getting through GCSEs is an achievement in itself!

And if the parents are more stressed than the kids… the bar’s open 😂🍺

Monday again… and judging by yesterday, nobody got the memo that weekends are meant to be relaxing 😂🍻

Another properly busy day at the Coach & Horses — thank you to everyone who came through the doors, ate, drank and generally kept us running around!

All served with proper roasties, Yorkshire pudding, seasonal veg, cauliflower cheese and plenty of gravy.

Eating in or taking one home to quietly claim you cooked it yourself — we won’t tell. 🤐

Unfortunately, I didn’t write it down and it has now left the building 😂

So instead — it’s Friday, the pub’s open, Happy Hour is 5–7pm, and I’ll be behind the bar pretending I know exactly what I’m doing.

Well… that was a slightly longer social media silence than planned 👀

Nothing dramatic—we’ve just been busy doing actual pub things and completely forgetting to tell Facebook about them 😂

Anyway, we’re still here, it’s Thursday, the doors are open and normal service (plus questionable banter) has resumed.
