Unfortunately and with immediate effect we are going to have to ban the use of electric scooters on site. It was our intention to do this for 2027 as we have had over the summer a few near misses and these scooters do go very quickly. Yesterday once again we had a very close call with someone leaving the shower block and being extremely close to being hit from a scooter going very quickly around the corner. The consequences could have been pretty bad. We are sorry we are having to do this but hope you will agree it’s needed for everyone’s safety.

A great evening last night.
St Agnes Silver Band were great as usual. Their BBQ was a hit as were their games.
So nice to see so many come and join us on the playfield, and the weather stayed good as well.

Very happy to report that we have maintained our Gold Award this year after our AA Campsite inspection. Thank you to all here who work very hard keeping us at the Gold standard.

Temporary Ban on Fire Pits & Charcoal BBQs

Due to the prolonged hot and dry weather we have been experiencing this summer, we have been advised to introduce a temporary ban on all fire pits and charcoal barbecues.

Effective from today, Friday 17th July, the following are not permitted on site:

* Fire pits
* Charcoal barbecues
* Disposable barbecues

Our close proximity to the sand dunes and surrounding countryside means that even a small, accidental fire could have devastating consequences for the local flora and fauna, as well as posing a serious risk to the safety of our guests, neighbours and emergency services.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation while these conditions remain in place. We will review the situation as soon as it is safe to do so.
