After 15 years together, we finally got hitched 🍾

We invited friends and family to our new home for a three-day celebration of life and love. The sun shone brightly and we had the most magical time.

We’re Emma & Bertie — the brand new faces behind Caerkief Cottages! 🏡

After 15 years of city life in Bristol, we decided it was time for a big change... so we packed up everything (including our two rescue cats, Parsnip and Cassandra 🐾) and headed for the Cornish coast.

Now, we’re living our dream just outside Perranporth — and we can’t wait to share our little slice of paradise with you.

Whether you're craving sandy toes, coastal adventures, or just a cosy place to unwind, we can't wait to welcome you to Caerkief Cottages and make you feel right at home. 💛

After nearly 13 years, we say goodbye to Caerkief Farm and Cottages. We have absolutely loved living here making friends and meeting new and returning guests.

Thank you to everyone who has stayed with us. Its time for pastures new for us - we don't know what yet.

The new owners Emma and Bertie, will continue to look after Caerkief Cottages. We have no doubt they will give you a warm welcome and make you feel at home. Congratulations to them and we wish them good luck and happiness here at Caerkief.

What a day! Penhale Sands looking lovely. From Droskyn car park you can walk down to the beach between the cliffs when the tide out and explore the amazing huge rock arches.
