Starting today, it’s Chippy Fry-Day at The Star.

Beer-battered haddock. Two battered sausages. Fresh hand-cut chips. Homemade tartar. Our signature peas. Curry sauce.

The whole lot for £30.

And we’re doing it all day, every Friday.

Proper fish & chips, done our way. No fuss. No tiny portions. Just a very good reason to make Friday your favourite day of the week.

Forget the “what are you doing Tuesday?” WhatsApp conversation. We’ve done the planning for you.

Every Tuesday, all day, grab any of our homemade, stone-baked pizzas or calzones and we’ll throw in a free drink.

🍺 Any draught pint
🥤 Coke, lemonade or one of our homemade soft drinks

Then stay a while. Our board games are out, you’re welcome to bring your own, and there’s absolutely no requirement to eat your pizza and immediately disappear into the night.

🚨 WE’RE OPENING EARLY THIS BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY 🚨

No waiting until lunchtime — we’re opening the doors at 9.30am for Bank Holiday breakfast. 🍳☕️

We’ll be serving food right through until 7pm, so whether you fancy breakfast, a lazy lunch or an early dinner, we’ve got you covered.

And just a reminder… Brunch Club is on every Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 9.30am–12pm too. ☕️🥐

So, set the alarm slightly later than usual and come and see us.
