What a fun afternoon this was! 💙

Love how versatile the Moncrieffe Suite can be… it’s not always all about the dancefloor. From conferences and celebrations to fashion shows and everything in between, it’s always great seeing the space transformed for something different.

Scotland Meeting Review: UKHA Scotland members and committee gathered at The Salutation Hotel in Perth for their May meeting and enjoyed a fashion show, a buffet and a raffle.

Meeting Review from Ruth Clark: At our May meeting UKHA Scotland members were treated to a fashion Show, modelling a chosen collection of workwear from Florence Roby. The collection was kindly supplied by Karen Hesketh, Business Development Manager Florence Roby, who also introduced each model and uniform item before the models walked down the catwalk. It was a fun day and something a bit different !

Members were hosted by Gordon Paterson General Manager at the Salutation Hotel in Perth, alongside Kay MacMillan Head Housekeeper. We had welcome drinks and cold food buffet with lots of sweet treats.

Special thanks to Monika, Housekeeper at the Salutation Hotel for modelling along with UKHA Scotland Committee members on the catwalk .

We also welcomed new members and were treated to a presentation from Allan Ferguson from Allan's Chilli Products, where he gave us his story, took questions and then we had the chance to sample some of his products - spicy stuff!

We’re absolutely thrilled to share that The Salutation Hotel, Perth has been named a finalist for Hotel of the Year at the 2026 Scottish Hospitality Awards. 🥳

To be recognised alongside some of Scotland’s most celebrated hotels means so much to us, especially as a proudly independent hotel right in the heart of Perth.

Having previously won this award, it’s incredibly special to once again be included among this year’s finalists, and we couldn’t be prouder.

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing team for all their hard work, passion, and dedication, and to everyone who continues to support The Sally, we truly appreciate every one of you.

We dropped by the The Salutation Hotel in Perth and there was only a few flyers left on the table which must mean that people have been picking them up and booking their 'Perth Locals Weekend Ticket'.

To come away as Highly Recommended in Scotland’s Best Funeral Reception Hotel category was a lovely moment for the whole team.

Awards nights are always a reminder that hospitality is all about people from the guests who choose to spend their special moments with us, to the team behind the scenes who work hard every single day to make those moments happen.

It was also a brilliant evening celebrating the wider Scottish hospitality industry… and yes, even attempting a world record for the most people on a bed at one time 😂
